The other day I was watching "stupid idiots big world", that moronic show about that midget family and their "farm", when it suddenly occurred to me that midgets have existed throughout history. It is never really talked about in history books, and there are not any particularly famous ones from the colonial times or anything like that. It makes you wonder if Thomas Jefferson lived next door to some midgets. Better yet cave midgets. Can you imagine how many midgets it would take to start a fire or kill an enraged mastodon. With political correctness these days I am surprised that the history books seem to have no place for our midget fore fathers.
